Between each centimeter (cm) mark, there should be 10 smaller marks called millimeters (mm). Make sure you read the ruler from left to right. Changing the measurement units doesn't move guides, grids, and objects, so when ruler tick marks change, they might not line up with objects
You may neglect height and width of lenses but make sure to find a frame with the accurate total width as required. The other measurements (Nose bridge & Temple size) should also be close to your requirements. Frame measurements are listed in mm (millimeters). If you are using an inch ruler, 1 inch = 25.4 mm.
Use the Ruler Tool. Click and drag from one guide to the other then look at the Control Bar. The "L1" item will be the length of the measurement.
