22 April 3017: Martial arts actor, Scott Adkins is really good in his Boyka role. Good action fight scenes. Scott is really great with his air spin and flip kicks.
However, the story line lacks to show that he should Not have been walking perfectly in the 4th segment because martial arts actor, Michael Jai White, who is equally a good martial artist and fairly good actor, but in the role George Iceman Chambers {loosely based on real life boxer, Mike Tyson in prison} broke Boyka's knee and left Boyka paralyzed for life. Boyka should be limping in this film.
Anyhoo, I like that Boyka finally shows remorse and tries to amend his ways for his past sins and he ask Russian actress, {Teodora Duhovnikova}as Alma for her forgiveness. That was one of the best things in the entire series. I hated the ending. After being shot by the sadistic bad man twice, Boyka would have been in too much pain to get up again or dead.
This should be the last in the series and Boyka should have won the lady's freedom and he should have gone free either by word of honor from the chief bad man {like in part 2} or by escaping before the police arrived with Alma's help. The Boyka still in a Russian prison is now over done and pointless.
In prison for life, all Boyka can do is grow old, get slower and all he can do is train a newcomer to take his place. A better ending could have been written. Let's hope there will be a Mortal Kombat remake in year 2018 with Scott Adkins and Michael J. White.
