Reliance water heaters perform well over long periods of time. They answer all questions we have and they have proven to be very knowledgeable. This is my biggest dislike. I will never rent these anymore as they are huge money grab for these companies. So not at all. Has been very dependable and a great investment for our home. Maybe the guy from Montana-Dakota Utilities would like to buy it off of us since he thinks they are so great. It will last for years in my home. It's small and extremely efficient. Heats one tank full then the pilot goes off. I have recently purchased a house with a reliance hot water heater. It's been a great experience. I did unfortunately buy one from Freidman's in Petaluma and had a nightmare time getting it to stay lit. The installation process wasn't an issue. This is when things get strange. I liked everything about this purchase and there were no issues. They arrived at the time that was scheduled which I appreciated. I have never met more friendly representatives who enjoyed their jobs. Is their claim that there's no concellation option accurate. Parts still under warranty however I have to pay reliance hot water heater date code to get the part and it will take several days already without hot water for 4 days since their hot line is not open on weekends.They arrived at the time that was scheduled which I appreciated. The new one seems to be fine and tenants like it, too. All I wanted was a part to fix the heater. I hpt this approach. Instead, the all knowing warranty department refused to issue a return authorization number.The installation process wasn't an issue. It's very understandable for average people like me.
