I ordered this item 15 months ago. When the original Sony Bulb went out, it began giving problems by a flashing screen (flashing to black). It did this for a few months before I realized I could order a new bulb and fix the issue. When I received this bulb, it was much brighter than the old one it replaced. I was very happy.
