well there's 3 stationary and 1 laptop with almost the exact same spec .. quad-cores with 8gb ram each, specially tweaked windows 7 ultimate 64-bit with tweaked 64-bit drivers, SSD disks for system and wow (including the laptop, also SSD), nvidia graphics (geforce GTX460's in the 3 stationaries and geforce 420M in the laptop) and also there's an alienware laptop that can handle 6 wow's but it doesn't have an SSD drive yet so it's not optimal at the moment

Is it necessary having 8gb ram and ssd disks to be able to have 4 WoW running? I know you have 6, but i'm thinking myself of getting 4.:-)

not neccessary, but it removes ALL the lag in major cities, since normal harddrives (SATA7200rpm) loads all textures really really slow .. 100000 people in the same spot, all with different gear == texture load .. SSD drives does it in like a second, that's the difference really .. people think that all lag is the gfx cards fault, which is kinda hilarious .. so yeah, SSD drive for the wow directories is really recommended :p
