22 Mar 2016 A simple command line executable called: pdfinfo. It is downloadable for Linux and Windows. You download a compressed file containing several little PDF-related programs. Extract it somewhere. One of those files is pdfinfo (or pdfinfo.exe for Windows). An example of data returned by running it on a PDF document:

Manually filling the info in is fine if there are only handful scanned documents but it would take too much time with many errors along the way if there are 50 or even 100 of them.

In Adobe Acrobat Pro, go to file > create PDF > merge files into a single PDF. Then add files and select the files you want.

Does anyone know where I can look in a PDF file to find the number of pages in the document?
I am using the below javascript to count the no of pages in a PDF document/documents in a particular location(folder). I get the output in the console window but i would like to get the output in an excel sheet. Since I handle many number of PDF files, i would like to get the o/p in an excel sheet so that i can
