May 6, 2017 If you have an old school manually engaged system (MSOS), then you have to physically turn the hub locks and shift the transfer case to 4-wheel. If you have the Electronic version (ESOF), then when you turn the dial, it shifts the transfer case and engages the vacuum actuators on the front hub to lock.
