Please use a laundry detergent that is suitable for woollens that contains no optical brighteners or, alternatively, shampoo. Wash the item in hand-warm water and rinse out any residual detergent with lots of clean water. Follow the wool washing instructions above.
In order to maintain the quality and color of the fabric, you should use liquid detergent without any optical brighteners or bleach. Of course, this detergent must be suitable for the particular fabric of the sling. You don't need to use any fabric softener, which should be avoided regardless for environmental reasons.
Dryer balls are a great way to help break in your wrap. If you are drying a RS in the dryer, wrap a pair of socks over the rings to help reduce the noise.
