Dom Cobb is a thief with the rare ability to enter people's dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious. Cobbs ability has made him the face of Corporate Spy hence a wanted man too. Seeing his abilities he is approached by Saito to carry out an almost impossible mission not to steal but to plant the idea into the mind of the legal heir of a Billion Dollar Enterprenauer. Mr Cobb with some specialists must do the impossible in order to get back his life in a completely different "world of Dreams" facing his own Demons.
I enjoyed it. It wasn't excellent, it wasn't dreadful; maybe just above average, but definitely not a 9.1.
I actually looked forward to DiCaprio's performance, as he's a great actor. However, I was somehow disappointed; he hasn't convinced me at all, and sometimes I felt the part was not made for him. I'm also a big fan of Michael Caine, whose performance I only thought of as average.
I admit the idea of the movie was intriguing, but the plot was way too complicated, without being complex.
The movie is worth seeing, but is not worth a 9.1, or to be called a masterpiece.
I just finished watching this movie. Seriously one of the BEST movies i seen in my entire life. This brilliant man Nolan, he is one of the best writers/producers/directors in the WORLD! This is one of those movies we have to see before we die :-) Truly a masterpiece, a art, some kind of ART. This movie has it all, give the viewers its all, and you go home after watching this movie being touched all the way into our souls. All the actors played their parts well and even more then well. I was truly a pleasure to see this movie. I gave this movie a 10/10. All Nolans movies are incredible and masterpieces in their unique ways. I recommend this movie with all my heart. You will never regret watching this movie, regardless of what movie taste you have, this movie will touch anyone :-)
With physics-defying, thunderous action, heart-wringing emotion and an astonishing performance from DiCaprio, Nolan delivers another true original: welcome to an undiscovered country.

9. Throughout the shooting script Nolan uses the simple transitional element for changing scenes, "and we—CUT TO:". Every time this occurs, it's not cutting to another scene with in the "present" reality, but it "cuts to" either a higher or lower dream within the dream, or it "cuts to" reality. So at the end of the shooting script Nolan writes "And we—FADE OUT."
