What is the feasibility of swapping in a 6 speed manual from say an E9x 335i or even from an E46 330i? I'm sure there will be someone that looks into completing such a modification to their 335d, just as there are many other BMW's out there that started life as automatics and made the switch to manual.

16 May 2016 Hi Guys, I am planning to convert my car to manual this winter, I was just wondering if anyone could think of any parts I may need / have forgotten. List so far: BMW's excuse for not offering the 335d in manual is "too much torque" so I would just make sure your components are bulletproof. Appreciate 0
So the thing is, I got my car exactly how I wanted it, BSM / Coral every package except CA. BUT with the huge exception of MT. I come from a Coyote 6MT which I enjoyed very much to drive. And I am definitely feeling a little down driving an Auto. But because these cars are not easily found, much less
5 Feb 2017 I will for the most part being using OEM parts to perform this conversion, I recommend for those who want to save some money to attempt to find a loaner vehicle or in other words a car you can snag the parts off.
