So, I've been trying every which way to lock the exposure compensation during manual video mode so that I can take shots on a set which are exposed identically from one take to the next. is there any other way to seize manual control of exposure compensation. Even on shots where I'm sweeping across

That, or I'm just missing (or not realizing) the setting on the cameras I've used (GX1, GF3, OMD). On the advertisements at least, the GH are the series Panasonic label as having video shutter control. Edit well, Guess I should read my manual based on above I don't really do video, so never looked for it.

I should probably start shooting in Manual instead of Aperture mode as well I guess. I don't really want to shoot in Shutter Priority as I like to be in control of the aperture. I bought a variable ND filter last week as well because here in Hong Kong the sun is so bright it would make it impossible to use any open apertures
