The series is about two graduate students, Jay Burchell and Tyler Fog, who on a dare from their long time friend Will Traveler skate around a museum for a prank. After they leave the museum it explodes and the FBI are called in when it appears to be terrorist related. The two friends soon become suspects and it appears that Will set them up to make it look like they did the bombing. Fog and Jay tell the FBI about Traveler but they are told that no one called Will Traveler ever existed. The boys find they have no proof as they never have a clear photo of him as he always hide his face, and he never spoke of his home life. Realising that they only way to prove their innocence is to find Traveler and find out why he's trying to frame them, so they go looking for him and soon find themselves involved in a manhunt by the FBI.
Jay and Tyler find themselves hunted by the FBI after a bombing of a museum. Their only lead is their best friend, Will Traveler, who disappeared after the bombing and is not in any record - anywhere. They need to find him and figure out what part he played in a spiraling nightmare of violence, death and conspiracies. Who is really Will Traveler?
some other comments (in particular one in which the person openly admits they did not watch past the first five minutes, yet still criticizes the show) state the show is cliché or is too much like prison break. I think that couldn't be farther from the truth. This show plays upon the paranoia of terrorism that is prevalent in society not by calling us to fear terrorism more but rather to fear what it would be like to be wrongly accused of terrorism, especially in a country and a world where simple accusations can increasingly be the be all and end all. The show has a great premise, the actors do a decent job, and the cinematography captures the rush of the plot without going over the top "hollywood." and you cannot criticize the director either, someone who has direct :Without A Trace", and several other popular shows, he definitely knows what he is doing. I'd say take a look at the pilot online or maybe when it's played again on television, and see it for yourself before you accept the word of individuals who did not even really give it a full chance themselves. I think it could be a pretty impressive show, and I usually am hard to please about dramas and shows that seem adrenaline driven.
Come on people. Put the home rolled cigarettes down for a second and step back from TV reality. This is just like a litany of other shows that started with a reasonably exciting premise and produced about 5 or six interesting shows, because that is all the writing team had ready when they signed the deal, and then, like Lost, Heroes, NYPD blue and others becomes a farce of itself as the show surprisingly becomes a hit, and the studio forces the writers to start cranking out garbage scripts, demographically researched and placating to the popular motifs in the series. The show quickly burns itself out and is slowly abandoned by the adoring fan base that propelled the show into success in the first place. I will be happy when the US television market adopts the strategy of the Brits, which is to slate a show for airing for only a few seasons and then it is automatically canceled. This helps the creative staff get the comfort and stability they need to create, and We don't have producers high on who knows what trying to milk the show of every last marketing dime. Get it together people!
