30 May 2016 Fast forward to the present day and modems have been replaced by routers and some ISP's insist that you use their own hardware and won't entertain the thought of you using anything else. Go through setting it up to join an existing network (wired) then once that is working,
So I've just got BT Fibre with new Home Hub 5 (no open reach white box required anymore) Upstairs in the office I have a Cat 6 cable running from my Hub 5 (downstairs) into the Airport base station but can't tried to set up the guest network on the Airport but it sets up ok but nothing will connect to it ?
