Q: I have a British Gas UP2. Is this the same as the LP722? In particular, does it have the 1-hour Boost facility, as opposed to the Advance feature that simply switches over until the next timed event? The download user manual for the LP722 does not seem to mention the Boost function as shown on the features list.

14 Jan 2018 My central heating was installed with a Potterton EP2002 timer, but when that failed it was replaced with a British Gas UP2 (under the maintenance policy that I've had since moving into my house). One of the things that I If only he'd bothered to read the manual (which incidentally he didn't leave me with).
I have just had a call for help from 300 miles away "how do I put my heating on?". British Gas have recently fitted a UP2 controller - does anyone know what it actually is under the BG badge and/or where I might find a manual online? Phil.
