An unlikely trio travel through time in order to battle unknown criminals and protect history as we know it.

But can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it's too late?
I'm a HUGE fan of several shows (The Blacklist, Lost, The Office, Stranger Things, Sherlock, just to name a few), but very few have claimed my heart like Timeless has! From the day the very first promo for Season 1 came out I've been in love with the premise, the cast, and the characters, not to mention the history that is embedded in every episode and the figures, sets, and costumes that so spectacularly make it come alive. The storyline, scripts, and chemistry with the cast are all GOLDEN. I'm still appalled that more people don't watch it. It's outstanding!!
I liked the first episode of this show, but it had one major flaw; it moved so fast into the actual time-traveling bits that The Flash would be in awe. Should have taken a lot longer time to flush out the characters, get to know the disappearing sister so we care more, know a little bit more about the stories and have a more back-and-forth banter before they agree to jump into a washing machine going to the past.

The second episode is in this regard better, but again with the Lincoln crap. The guy was a dictator wannabe, mass-murderer, racist and one of the most despicable persons ever to hold an office. Booth is a hero! Any show that starts idolising the warmonger and autocrat Abraham Lincoln is automatically ignored by me, also why I stopped watching Bones.

There are also inconsistencies and scripting issues, and several "science" flaws. So the same person cannot go back to the same time again to fix what they did wrong the first time time-traveling, and this because they can run into each other? So what? Send someone else!

I will check out one or two more episodes since I like a few of the characters, but they better help Leon Czolgosz, Nathuram Godse, or Marcus Junius Brutus do a better job instead of trying to help their targets.

Decent start, but need to become better otherwise I'll stop watching soon.
