Choclate Pound Cake Recipe

Directions. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 10-inch tube pan with butter. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa together. With an electric mixer, cream the 1 cup butter, the shortening and the sugar until fluffy. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour.
Recipe was very delicious and easy to make. Decadently rich. One slice will do you. You will never buy another store bought chocolate pound cake again,.
Directions. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Cream together butter or margarine, shortening, and sugar. Add 1cup flour and the baking powder to egg butter mixture. Stir in cocoa and mix well. Bake in a preheated 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) oven for 1 hour 30 minutes. Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes.
This chocolate pound cake is one of my favorite cakes to bake. A friend of mine gave me this recipe years ago.
