Mar 28, 2011 Outdoor Life had the opportunity to test KUIU hunting gear during a backcountry trip and our expert hunter was very impressed.
Never had the guide beanie but looking at my jacket I think the material would be sloppy, wouldn't form snugly on my head. Mainly looking for some wind block to keep me out of wearing a hood. And have a $25 credit to burn so wanting to stay with a kuiu option.

Apr 1, 2015 Last year I used a set of Yukon rain gear on a snow sheep hunt. It rained EVERY AFTERNOON for from 2 to 4 hours, sometimes light and sometime heavy, usually with wind. It never leaked a drop. I was/am quite pleased with it's performance and plan to use it again this fall on another sheep hunt.
