The criminal that killed Walker's fiancé ten years ago is being released early from prison. He intends to seek revenge on Walker for putting him away by hurting all of Walker's friends.
First off, IMDb sucks for deleting some of my posts. Now, let's get to the review, I feel compelled to review this wonderful episode because it had everything, drama, action, romance, and great acting.
This showing starts off at Huntsville Prison where a convicted racketeering mob boss Vince Pike (played wonderfully by Leon Rippy) who is scheduled for an early release quickly establishes himself to the audience as the main villain by beating another inmate to a pulp. Once he is out of prison we discover that this man is responsible for the murder of Walker's fiancé' whom he was going to marry 10 years prior and now it's got Walker all edged up. C.D wonderfully tells Trivette and Alex the fairy-tale relationship that Walker had with his fiancé who's name was Ellen (played wonderfully by Jennifer Grant).
Meanwhile, Vince Pike discusses revenge plans with his men much to one of his men's disgust, Pike responds to the disgust by showing the boys who's boss and killing that said man with a golf club. Instead of killing Walker, Pike decides to get Walker's attention by taking out his pals and succeeds with Trivette and C.D and thus they ended up hospitalized. Walker and Trivette decide that the best way to nail Pike was the golf-club murder of one of his men, the big showdown at Pike's mansion occurs and we get the usual shooting and fighting where the rangers get the better of the bad guys and, as usual, Walker gets to square off with the boss and knocks out Pike with an uppercut in a not-so-usual fistfight.
This episode was not only the usual action-packed greatness, but it also made me tear up in some scenes, such as the scene where Walker goes to Ellen's grave and Alex comforts him. I also love all of the flashback scenes with Walker and Ellen when she was alive and the beautiful music that was attached with those scenes along with the strong chemistry that the two displayed on-screen. The usual cast was terrific but I really dug Leon Rippy's performance I mean he always plays such a great villain and truly got under your skin with his laugh, his cruelty about Ellen's death, and his menacing appearance (the corroded teeth, long hair, etc.) I give this episode 10/10.
