11 Jan 2012 . Frozen Raspberry Custard. 1 3/4 cup heavy cream. 1 3/4 cup whole milk. 3 large egg yolks. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 2/3 cup seedless raspberry jam. 1 1/2 tsp raspberry extract. 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Cook berries and cup sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until berries are soft and start to release their juices. Whisk egg yolks, salt, and remaining cup sugar in a medium bowl until lightened in color. Whisk custard, berry pure, lemon juice, and remaining cup cream until smooth.
