A detective from the year 2077 finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver and searching for ruthless criminals from the future.
Continuum is a one-hour police drama centered on Kiera Cameron, a regular cop from 65 years in the future who finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver. She is alone, a stranger in a strange land, and has eight of the most ruthless criminals from the future, known as Liber8, loose in the city. Lucky for Kiera, through the use of her CMR (cellular memory recall), a futuristic liquid chip technology implanted in her brain, she connects with Alec Sadler, a seventeen-year-old tech genius. When Kiera calls and Alec answers, a very unique partnership begins. Kiera's first desire is to get "home." But until she figures out a way to do that, she must survive in our time period and use all the resources available to her to track and capture the terrorists before they alter history enough to change the course of the future. After all, what's the point of going back if the future isn't the one you left?
Great sci-fi TV show from Canada. I really enjoy watching this show, the characters are all very likable and believable in their roles. A fantastic cast which finds you supporting Keira and Carlos in their quest to protect law and order and for Keira to get back to her own time. I like the relationship between Kira and Carlos and viewers may even feel sympathetic for the cause of the terrorists called Liberate, who use any means to get their message out regarding global corporate greed within their own time.
Each episode you watch always is action packed and builds up very effectively suspense between each character that never leaves you disappointed. There is always something unexpected that happens that takes you by surprise and keeps you guessing and wishing this and that would happen, which is great.
I am very glad that there will be a season 3 of Continuum and I sincerely hope it is a major success on a global scale that goes on for many more seasons, great show, love it.
Continuum is one of the rarest new shows that I actually can't get enough of.
I got curious about it and it was during the second season so I started the series form the beginning to better understand the series plot and it had my curiously but now it has my attention.WOW
Continuum centers around Kiera Cameron (Played by Rachel Nichols) the series Main Protagonist. Kiera is a Detective from the Future who was sent back through time with ruthless Criminals called Liber8 the main antagonists of the series. While Kiera is stuck in the past she forms a partnership with Detective Carlos Fonnegra (Played by Victor Webster) and Alec Sadler (Played by Erik Knudsen)
What makes the show interesting is that the characters are something to be seen as they are some of the most creative and original ones I have seen in quite some time.
The plot is one that is very good and can just draw you in where you have to keep watching to see what's going to happen next. And you have to pay real close attention because the show is very detail on it plot and characters.
The acting in the series is superb while there are special effects the acting is very good in the series Rachel show cases her skills as an actress and shows why she was born to play Kiera.
If you're a fan of SCI/FI or Time Travel then you have got to check out Continuum because it is just one of those shows that show that there is still great television to be made if given the right direction so do yourself a favor and watch Continuum.
With strong acting, superb plot and storyline you can't go wrong. The Future Is In Her Hands
