Exactly how I imagined Daredevil. Great cast, great acting, great show. The distribution between time and back-stories of the main character and the villain is fair, so you get a good grip on the characters' previous life and their personal hardships and struggles. In fact, that having been said, every character has a back-story which gives you much more contact and passion for each character. i.e :

When Fisk kills his dad, you actually get a sense of sorrow for him and wonder if he really is the bad guy, after being so mistreated and abused.
Excited to watch Season 2, and I strongly recommend this show. It is definitely the highlight of Netflix.Daredevil season 2 loses all of its complexities that made season 1 a hit when they lost Stephen Deknight as a show runner. However it still makes up for this with a better action sequences and a great performance by Jon Berthal's Punisher.
The show manages to add some more cooler and enjoyment moments even with the loss of its show runner. Making things a lot bigger and a lot more interesting. While it can't live up to the first season it still a blast to watch as Matt Murdock is put in some tough situations and has to find a way to deal with it all while still being the hope that he wants to show for the city in it needs for corruption.
The season give some spectacular moments between Punisher and Daredevil and also brings back another fan favorite and has him face the Punisher. I won't spoil who but it is amazing when you figure it out.
Sadly the season also suffers from its secondary plot with Elektra making Matt feel like more of a ply thing for Elektra and a plot thread to have Foggy and Matt have a lot of drama in it.
That being said it also gives and intriguing back story for Elektra that I had liked a lot, but all fails not to save the Elektra's changing personalities as well as her attitude.
Overall the season still falters but still manages to have fun in Hell's Kitchen.Yes, it takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with such films as Iron Man (2008), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and The Avengers (2012), as well as the TV shows Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013) , Agent Carter (2015) and Jessica Jones (2015). As well as upcoming series Luke Cage (2016), and Iron Fist (2017).
The show also makes several references to the Avengers film. Such as "after new york was destroyed", or "unless he has a suit of iron or a magic hammer".
Ben Urich's office also contains framed newspaper covers featuring the events in The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers. Season 1 has been confirmed to take place three years after The Battle of New York. Stick enlists Matt's help to destroy "Black Sky," a weapon that the Japanese mafia, led by Fisk's associate Nobu, are bringing into New York. Matt agrees on the condition that Stick restrain himself from killing anyone, but Stick breaks his promise when it is revealed that Black Sky is a young boy being held in a shipping container with chains around his neck and limbs. Stick fails to kill Black Sky while at the docks with Matt, but later says he killed the boy further up the road. Stick does not go into detail but says that the boy was more than "just a boy" and that Matt would have sensed this had he not been emotional at the moment. Black Sky is not a term previously found Marvel Comics so there is no clear parallel to be found there at this time. What exactly the boy named Black Sky is and how exactly he is a weapon is not revealed as of the first season of Daredevil, and any fan theories are pure speculation. In season 2; Elektra is revealed to be the Black Sky.
