The darndest thing happened last night.. we were driving around town looking for an open grocery store (it was past 9pm on a Saturday), and the whole city centre was totally empty. The only thing we saw, except from street lights, was a toppled over shopping-cart laying in the park.. and everything looked flash-frozen (mind you it wasn't, since it's been cold as shit for quite a while now, but it looked like it).
And this is the time of night on a saturday when people usually start going out, going to bars, going to and from each others parties etc, but the only people we saw were three teenagers running like crazy down main street (on the ice) and that was it.. no cars, no people, lots of ice and hardly any light.. if I didn't know better I would half expect there to be coming zombies running after the teenagers x)
And now, 12 hours later, everything looks like Narnia! Norway, truly a land of weirdness. And I have crows in the tree outside my window <3 I like crows.
