SpongeBob and Patrick journey to the hazardous Shell City to get back King Neptune's stolen crown.
Plankton steals King Neptune's crown and puts it far away in Shell City. When Mr. Krabs is framed for the act, SpongeBob and Patrick are given 6 days to receive Neptune's crown. On the journey playing as either SpongeBob or Patrick, you go through levels like the Thug Tug and battles foes and bosses like the hit-man Dennis. It is up to you to get Neptune's crown back and then return safely home to Bikini Bottom.
This game is a good one, but when the game is completed there is not much to do. Here's how i see it: Graphics: The animation on this game is solid as both the characters and the scenery look good. Game Play: Not very good, i'm afraid. The characters are all right to control but the vehicles are a nightmare to control. the characters are fine but you do come across the odd ice patch in some levels which makes it unplayable. Like i said, it's a fun game to play but some games give you things to do after the games missions are completed, like 'The Simpsons: Hit and Run' which much like this game is fun to play, although this game is a little easier, but 'Hit and Run' has mini games and collectibles in the game or you can just drive about and smash things. This game doesn't let you drive around due to enemies attacking and the fact that it's a movie game. this is Enjoyable but perhaps the next SBSP game will have more things to do.
This is hilarious - any fan of the SpongeBob SquarePants TV show will adore it! It's very funny from the very beginning - I really don't want to spoil it, so I'll try not to mention the jokes - but it's a really cute 'coming of age' story, in which SpongeBob, the lovable yellow cuboid, goes on a trip to retrieve Neptune's crown (stolen by Plankton to frame Mr Krabs so that he can get the Krabby Patty Secret Formula, just like the cartoon, etc) and prove that he is more than just a kid. It's a great story that anyone could love - my boyfriend doesn't even watch the cartoon and he loves the film now! Try and watch the film as late as you can - the first showing I went to, this guy laughed at SpongeBob at a really sad part. Not good if you really like the little goofball. Also, the 'rock' song at the end is fun, too! I'm still in stitches!
