This is my "guilty pleasure".
I was never quite a fan of slapstick comedy, but here it just works. The characters are amazing. You have your hero who can't do anything because he's dumb, the super-smart girl that is too young to be as smart as she is, the partner-in-crime, and the villain who sits around petting his cat.
I love video games, so I want a video game adaptation of some kind. A GOOD ONE. Inspector Gadget: Advance Mission was the best.
If you're a parent of a 6 or 7 year old, I highly recommend you introduce this show to them. Now I'm gonna watch it myself despite being older than 7. Teens can like it too!Grab a bowl of popcorn, sit back and watch this classic again! Forget the movie, which everyone will enjoy as long as they've never seen the original. My 9 year old brother is watching our old recorded episodes at this very moment, and I'm having more fun than he is! The only thing I never liked about this series was that useless Captain Corpal or whatever who followed Gadget around and made Gadget look like Einstein! For some reason, he bugged me (it may have to do with the episode where he tied up Brain when all Brain was doing was saving the shrunken Gadget!!)Dynomutt, the Dog Wonder.
