I don't know why this information is not printed out in the instructions. They do give quite a lot of instruction on how to attach the pump to a bike frame but what good is having the pump on the bike if you can't get it to fit your valves. As may be obvious, I am not that mechanically gifted, so perhaps this isn't an issue for others

I was using the pump (TOPEAK Road Morph G Pump With Gauge) today, for the first time. There are almost no instructions how to use it. After setting.

5 Dec 2011 My procedure for attaching the pump head to the valve is to 'open' the lever (so it's at 90 degrees to the pump barrel) and then to 'close' it so that it is parallel to the barrel. I'm pretty sure this is wrong. Unfortunately I have no documentation with the pump and cannot find any instructions on the Topeak site.
