10 Oct 2011 Click to expand I just looked at the manual. The pf-350 and pf-500 are both described this way. I assume that it is best to unplug if the head is not to be use for an extended period of time. I have not been doing this as I just assumed it was "off" vs "standby". I guess it helps to actually read the manual.
Before getting the PF500 I had been using an Ampeg SVT200T solid state full size 350 watt head for 20+ years. I loved that amp and frankly still would if it wasn't so damn big & heavy.
