Former cop Brian O'Conner who teams up with his ex-con pal Roman Pearce to transport a shipment of 'dirty' money for shady Miami-based import-export dealer Carter Verone, while actually working with undercover agent Monica Fuentes to bring Verone down.
Paul Walker plays a very sexy role in this thrill ride movie. It has great music and a great script and plot. This movie is great for both men and women. For the men it has a great display of fast tricked out cars and great stunts. The men can also enjoy the looks of the many women wearing skimpy swimsuits. For the women... Paul Walker is all you will need to get you to watch this movie over and over again. He is awesome! He has a sexy voice and his looks will have you coming back for more. Trust me on this one. My daughter is 13 and loved the movie... I think she was shocked that we both agreed that a guy was HOTT!! I have not seen The Fast and the Furious... but that will soon change. I can't wait to watch another movie with Paul Walker driving fast cars. I highly recommend this movie!
When I heard that there was going to be a sequel to Fast and the Furious, I'll admit, I was pretty excited. I thought the first one was good, so why wouldn't this one be. But after watching this movie, this proves the addage about sequels being worse than the originals. The acting was horrible. I think Paul Walker needs some serious acting lessons (especially after that god awful movie Timeline). Roman Pearce was trying too hard to be a bad ass, which he couldn't convince a class of first graders of in the first place. The plot was bland and predicable. Needless to say that character development was non existent. Overall, one of the worse sequels in history (it's right up there with the Matrix).
Singleton abandons the underground racing subculture that gave the first film its allure, relying instead on lazy thriller plotting that's only a bag of donuts and a freeze-frame away from the average TV cop show.
The homepage of the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) listed the DVD of 2 Fast 2 Furious with a 12A rating in such cut and with a 15 rating in its uncut version. Unfortunately, the 15-rated DVD is cut as well. The UK DVD uses alternative footage for two short shots of Brian putting away his gun and of Enrique, Brian and Roman are kicking Enrique more often in the uncut version. a5c7b9f00b
