28 Aug 2016 Another option is to convert an existing Word DOC to PDF using the Export feature: Have the Word doc you want to convert to PDF open in Word for Mac. Go to the 'File' menu and choose “Export" Select “PDF" in the file format selection. Choose to Export the Word doc as a PDF.
I'm not sure if this one's been spotted in the wild before, but I was running into some problems converting Word documents to PDF.
