Loop Stitch. Bring your needle up and pull it through. Insert your needle tip into the fabric about 1/8 inch from where it came up. Form a loop of ribbon on the surface of the fabric and hold the loop in place as you pull the needle and trailing ribbon through.

A bonus ribbon embroidery rose. To make this very beautiful rose you have to first take a 3 inch piece of ribbon and then fold it to make the small bud shape inside. Tie thread on the base of this to make the bud shape. Cut off the extra in this bud. Use a needle and thread to fix this on to the fabric.
