3 Jul 2010 When you turn on the Import Options checkbox in InDesign's Place dialog box, you get more options for placing your files, right? One option you get when you place a PDF, INDD, or AI file is to import more than one page at a time. For example, you might choose to import pages 1-8 of a 20-page document.
6 May 2013 By default, when you place a multi-page PDF in InDesign, only the first page will be placed. So how can you repeatedly. You can also choose to include the bleed (as I have done in the sample picture) or other optional areas of the document, or whether the file's background will be transparent or opaque.
Query: I am creating a PDF file from a Microsoft Word doent. I need to then import/place that PDF into a page layout program where I can use master page features to create bleeds on the pages. I then need to make a new PDF file. The problem is in InDesign and Pagemaker I have to import/place the PDF file (from Word)
