Lucy, an aspiring Celestial Wizard, becomes a friend and ally to powerful wizards Natsu, Gray, and Erza, who are part of the (in)famous wizard guild, Fairy Tail.
Lucy, a runaway celestial wizard, finds herself under the curse of a magic charm. Natsu Dragneel, a Dragon Slayer, and his sidekick, Happy, swoop in to save her from being sold on the black market. Causing massive property damage, is a specialty of Fairy Tail, as Lucy is soon to find out as she joins the magical guild. Lucy soon meets Gray and Erza, both are also wizards at Fairy Tail, Gray is an ice wizard with a cool personality and a special "hobby". Erza on the other hand is a wizard with requip magic, which allows her to switch armour and weapons at any moment. Through Arcs of all kinds Fairy Tail sticks together
Story looks a little broken from translation. Missing parts or scenes. Very, very repetitive animations. Every episode has same long transformations and spells. Kinda lazy seeing as it looks incredible.
Story great at the start 10/10 then drops fast to 5/10 story. First animation I've watched that becomes more and more a struggle to watch.
Pun's could be improved on. Magic pretty cool.
Popularity does not always mean something is good and I discovered that after watching this bad anime. Horrible story, very repetitive, I forced myself to get through 46 episodes and I just couldn't take it anymore so I dropped it. The plot is very interesting but unfortunately the writers don't even bother to follow it. When the Main Character Natsu is supposed to be looking for his father, it's all forgotten as he prioritizes the fairy tail guild than looking for his father. There's no character development whatsoever, characters are stunted. If you appreciate stories with character development, and progression in every episode, you're definitely going to hate fairy tail, it's a must NOT watch.
