In Memory of Mr. Chad Oulson Loving father, husband, son, brother, friend, and U.S. Veteran who served our country for seven years then was gunned down by an angry retired police captain in a movie theater one afternoon who walked right past the NO GUNS ALLOWED sign with a loaded pistol in his pocket. Three years later Chad Oulson’s killer is still walking free. On January 13, 2014 an elderly man unleashed his unresolved inner rage toward a fellow movie goer at a theater in Wesley Chapel, Florida. His name was Curtis Reeves. He taunted the much younger man, he pushed, he prodded, and when the younger man finally toppled the old man’s popcorn the older man raised his arm and shot one round center of mass into the body of his victim. The older man wants you to believe he was in fear for his life or of great bodily harm after his victim supposedly physically attacked him so he was forced to kill him in self-defense. If he can convince the court that he was acting in self-defense then he will literally be able to get away with murder. But there’s one huge problem which will hopefully stand in his way and force him to face prosecution for his crimes – his victim didn’t attack him. He attacked his popcorn. And the last time I checked the self-defense laws do not allow the use of deadly force in order to protect and defend your popcorn.
