22 Jan 2015 How to Install a Manual Boost Controller: Part 6-testing and setting. Turn the valve so it is at the minimum boost setting. For our MBC turn the adjustment knob all the way counter-clockwise until you feel it bottom out; Test run the car and ensure that the car is running at the wastegate spring pressure.

The dyno shop indicated it was putting out 4.5-4.75PSI, they added a boost controller and turned it up to 7psi and made a run, then delivered to me at 9psi, wastegate lever by 1/8 of an inch on the tight side (you will have to tug on the actuator arm 1/8" to get it to slip over the wastegate lever. install the clip. you're done.
Is there a way to test if a Manual boost Tee is faulty? I don't have a I ask because my R33 Gtst has started to make a soft whining kind of noise when under boost. . Never a problem running without a controller at all, personally I'd rather purchase a new actuator over trusting a manual boost controller.
My car right now at 75 to 80 degrees runs 17 to 18 peak and drops to around 10 11 by 7000 RPM.
