I am going to give you my specs for overclocking a P6T motherboard with a Core 7 i920, 12GB Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz PC12800 DRAM and I am also . Just restart your PC and as long as you don't see a message that explicitly says "Overclocking failed" in your BIOS start-up messages, you are OK.
30 Aug 2010 ASUS P6T X58 "overclocking failed" I have had an unusual "overclock has failed" post msg and have had to downclock and then work my way back up to 3.6.
