18 Nov 2017 Beginners Meeting on Tuesdays. This meeting is for newcomers to Al-Anon or anyone wishing to have a more open meeting format to ask questions about Al-Anon.
Beginners' meetings are an important part of our Al-Anon Family Groups. The purpose of a beginners' meeting is to introduce new- comers to the Al-Anon program in a welcoming and comforting manner, in an environment where they have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss their feelings with longtime members.
Encourage beginners to share the Al-Anon program of recovery with their children. A fine way of doing this is to display and discuss Al-Anon/Alateen literature. It is helpful to introduce the Conference-Approved Litera- ture (CAL) associated with each of the suggested meetings.
