When Chuck Bartowski gets kicked out of Stanford and stuck in a dead end job as a computer nerd for the Buy More he is accidentally sees an email full of government secrets sent to him by an old college buddy forcing Chuck into a world of spies, danger, and frenzy.
When a twenty-something computer geek inadvertently downloads critical government secrets into his brain, the C.I.A. and the N.S.A. assign two agents to protect him and exploit such knowledge, turning his life upside down.
Contains Spoilers This my first review for a TV series/Movie, more like a warning for others.
First 4 seasons are great but the last season erases the concept of the first 4.
Spoilers: 1) Chuck does only 1 flash of the intersect in the last episode to disarm a bomb.
2) Morgan becomes the intersect for most of the season.
3) If you still want to watch the last season don't watch episodes 10,11,12,13(last 4).
4) Last season is more serious and spoils the fun.
5) I hate the ending, as I said before it ruins all you have watched in the first 4 seasons.
My first vote was 9 but I changed to 7. Wanted to place 4 just for the ending. Ending is the most important and they blow it big time.
It's the one sitcom i never got hooked to. Utterly predictable, childish and slow paced. It had it's moments but for me the show crashed and burned bad. I've watched a lot of sitcoms and i don't really recommend Chuck to anyone unless you are 10 years old or younger. It's not that i didn't give this show a chance, but till the time i reached season 4, it got insensible and more like a fairy tale than a sitcom. I feel the show is over-rated and hyped for no reason whatsoever. If it were aired in the early 90's, Chuck would definitely have made it but given the standard of sitcoms and other genre TV series nowadays, Chuck fails miserably to impress. If you are out of options, watch Chuck, otherwise...
