Open your file that you want rotated (even if it is 1000 pages all in the wrong direction). Go to Document/Rotate Pages or use Ctrl+Shift+R and this opens your rotation menu. You have several rotation options to rotate single pages, all pages, or a selection of pages. Choose what you need and select OK to proceed.

If you only have Adobe Acrobat, you can either download a 30 day evaluation version of Acrobat and rotate the document you have. If this is something you need to do on a Adobe Reader cannot do this. Adobe Reader supports rotating "view" but this is temporary and cannot be saved (rotate "view" is not rotate "page").
1) Open your document in Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader). 2) Click on the “Pages" tab on left side of the page. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Ctrl + R, to open the rotate pages dialog. 3) Right-click on the thumbnail image of the page you want to rotate.
