Follows a group of six teenagers in the Marvel universe - Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hernandez, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, and Gertrude Yorkes - who discover that their parents are secretly members of a super-villain cabal called The Pride. After deciding they're no longer safe in their own homes, the kids go on the run. In the midst of hiding from their elders, the teens learn about themselves and become a family of their own.
After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents' actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.
It's so poor utterly unconvincing and boy so boring.
I've never read the comics, but as an avid Marvel Studious fan this show leaves a LOT to be desired. Leave it to Hulu to produce a show that ends a season leaving more questions unanswered than not. The first season was fairly enjoyable, just unfinished. If it does the same thing next season I won't be tuning in to the 3rd. Hulu needs to take a look at Netflix's Marvel collaboration's and actually finish their work with a completed plotline and leave it open draw more on.
All in all I liked the show, but disdain the writers for drawing together such a sloppy season conclusion. Get it together Hulu.
The much anticipated film adaptation of Marvel Comics 'Runaways' is now in the pre-production stages and auditions for the project's stars is underway. The casting directors are currently conducting a national online open casting call for boys and girls to star in the film.
