Hermione crumpled to the ground as the man sank over her, and she was shocked by the heat spreading from his body to hers down to the ground around them, the thin layer of frost melting and coating her body in a soft wet sheen....

....the man was now on his feet and dressing. Hermione blinked, tears of relief, of fear, of shame, of sorrow filling her wide eyes. She had so many questions. Was he going to help her? Was he truly dark? He had... with her..! What had really happened here? Most importantly...
"What... What is your name?"
The man paused and then looked into her face with a small smile. "Scabior," he murmured. "My name is Scabior. I'm the leader of the Snatchers."
And with that, he walked away.
