"Cougar knelt behind the bush, scanning the area with his thermal/night vision, taking his time; he also allowed his senses to 'see' as well because sometimes his senses could see sharper than his eyes. Cougar returned from a dangerous three-month mission deep in the heart of Taliban territory to find out that his girlfriend does not want to date him further. The blow was deep and he determined not to become involved with love again, the pain too great. Given a three-week vacation, Cougar and three members of the unit decide to go to Guadeloupe Island to relax and for Cougar's heart to heal and land in a CIA undercover ops surveilling cartel leaders meeting with Iranian Secret Intelligent Agents buying weapons for the Taliban. Deana's and Amber's, CIA agents, cover is blown and Cougar and the men are called to keep them safe. An unknown danger in the form of Lars Johansson pops up to take revenge on Deana and Amber for testifying against him three years prior receiving a 30-year prison term without parole and is successful in kidnapping them and heads to his private island along with the cartel head and Iranian Agent. How can Lars be on the island? Cougar and the men must rescue them before Lars has time to take his revenge. Cougar and his men succeed in the rescue of Amber but Lars escapes with Deana on his yacht. Cougar, his men, and additional SEALS rescue Deana at sea after battling a hurricane. Lars' ledger that holds transactions of selling weapons, drugs, and human trafficking of young girls and women is decoded and the revelation of the man behind the illegal operation is made known, a most powerful government official in Washington D.C. who has a paid assassin to do away with opposition or threats to his empire. Deana and Amber present a threat and must be eliminated. Cougar's greatest test comes when he must out-maneuver the assassin, Jerry, who was dishonorably discharged as a Marine ReCon and trained the same as Cougar and the unit excelling in all tests. Can Cougar succeed in overpowering and preventing Jerry from eliminating Deana and Amber? Will the feelings developed between Cougar and Deana deepen? What other challenges does the uncovering of this deadly operation bring and can the unit overcome these challenges? Find out.

Made me wonder how we ever fought wars without all the doodadery and most importantly to me (as a former gravel belly) the armour these folks have.If you like military fiction this is certainly top of the lineGift-wrap availableJackson, John CLearn more See all buying options A New World: Return: Volume 2 8.69 FREE UK Delivery on book orders dispatched by Amazon over 10Combined with their animal and cannibalistic behaviour, this makes them quite scary, especially as they prefer the dark and have really good eyesight within it.Watching as Lynn and Jack ease their way back into their relationship is enlightening but also a good line to the story, as it doesn't centre too much on the ins and outs of them or go into too much intimate detail, which sometimes distracts from a good plot and storyline.Having a bit of a military background, it was good to see that rank wasn't really that important when it came to voting someone in charge, they did the sensible thing which was based on actual experience in the field, much more helpful than 15 years sitting behind a desk with no action !Still really stuck into this and had to read in one go again, couldn't wait to start the next oneDon't have a Kindle?
