7 Apr 2017 No, the Withered Army Training is forr Reputation gaining, a chance at gear/artifact power, possible fox mount, and some toys as mentioned above. You could skip it and complete, 'Good Suramitaran.' You get 450 rep each time you complete it, more or less. 1 token for 50 rep, 4 tokens for 100 rep.
This guide is warrior specific, and had many of the same thoughts I did. You have all expansion to revisit Withered Training and complete it. With that in mind, I suggest you focus on getting 375 score each time until you build up your army a bit. Maximize the reward chests you

15 Sep 2016 Toggle the withered to berserk but be very aware that they are BERSERK they attack everything in sight randomly, so only do that when you have a target for them to focus. Apparently, rewards stop increasing after a score of 425 or so I've read on one guide but I can't find multiple confirming sources.
