Timeless tells the story of a mysterious criminal who steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. I'm a big fan of scifi, and time-travel is right up in there with that, so when the series first started I was really looking forward to it, and then, ugh, meh. Each week I was watching thinking "it's going to get cancelled, they're going to cancel the show unless something changes to make it not stop me from falling asleep watching each week", and then, as if they'd heard my thoughts, series 2 rolled around (albeit with a shortened 10 episode run), and I was punching the air waiting for the next week's episode.

I'm not going to put any spoilers out there, but I'm hoping they've done enough to warrant a third season and maybe more.
While I enjoy the show, tonight's episode about Harriett Tubman made my teeth hurt. How in the world could there be a black Union regiment named 2nd South Carolina? More importantly, how were the rebs going to get from the South Carolina coast to Vicksburg (Mississippi) overnight? Take an SST? Try to do at least do a little research.
