In the near future, the mysterious and sinister Venjix Computer Network is attempting to conquer and lay ruin to the entire planet. Mankind has retreated into environmentally-shielded domed cities to protect against the pollution and machines unleashed by Venjix. In the shining city of Corinth, an elite force of Rangers must learn to drive and operate an arsenal of radically advanced biotech vehicles in order to battle the attacking machine army bent on world domination.
I have been watching power rangers since a little kid and I really have to say that this season is my second favourite.It is a dark season, meaning that you can watch it and actually enjoy it even if you are a little older.I really enjoyed all the romance in this season -sooo many pairings- and all the characters whose backstories were so dramatic.Also it was really interesting and fresh the idea of the world to be already destroyed, so the rangers were trying to protect whats left.And of course loved the fact that in this season there were many deaths,making power rangers r.p.m much more realistic.
The only thing thats bad in this season is the suits and the megazords, too many megazords.And thats the only reason why for me its a 9/10
I've been a fan of Power Rangers for most of my life and I have to say that RPM is my favorite season of the franchise. The characters are interesting, the writing is strong, and the acting is probably some of the best acting that Power Rangers has ever done. I even loved the second half were Judd Lynn took over with episodes like "Ancient History" & "If Venjix Won". I still like the first half with Eddie Guzelian and like many fans I kinda want see what his season finale would've been like. But I give props to Judd Lynn for actually finishing a second half to a season within a short amount of time. The weakest part was recycling the sister plot from In Space but it's still better written and acted than most of the crap from the Neo-Saban era.
