endless i wander under clouded skies
the day is grey and the trees lie
Through these woods i must confide

Fallen souls, surrounding the sun

Wandering through this forest of old

Slain warriors sleep without sound
Blackened tarn alight with stars

By the light of the fire
with the beat of the drum
summoned forth by the death of the sun

Earthen shackles hold fast and strong
whispering silently where i belong
Issuing forth this river cold
Falling, crashing upon broken stones

The sky unfolds bringing the rains
All turns to grey across broken plains
I remember not what had transpired
all was yet lost with raging fires

having proven honour steadfast to kin
Be this my life: reborn, begun
fading away as morning shadow
towards which now, i bravely go.
