A former Chicago cop moves to a small Florida town and joins the state police.
This is the kind of series I really enjoy. They have a standard format, but have taken the time to develop the characters so you feel vested in them. The writing is light and humorous which I appreciate. The sub-plot for it is also woven through it well. Even though they deal with murders, they don't over do the gore factor. To me that makes it easier to watch. I am not wondering at every turn if they're going to gross me out. Lead characters have a natural flow to their humor. When they do deal with the stress in their lives, it's believable. Overall a great way to kick back from reality and be entertained. Hope to see it continue for years, am playing catch-up with Netflix.
I enjoyed seasons 1,2 and 3, it used to have good humor instances and Longworth got the job done without his douche-bag attitude.. but season 4 feels like a replay of one episode, with minor changes.. three suspects and 1 of them is definitely the killer, come on..change the format.. This just does not look interesting at all now. I think I'm generous in giving it a 4 , but thats only because s's 1,2 and 3 were good. I have no idea why the writers are unable to come up with something new, its as if they are not even trying. I was really looking forward to season 4 and this is what they give me..!!This might end up being canceled if the ratings drop. It is a possibility.
The popular hit A&E Network drama television series "The Glades" Los Angeles casting director is accepting submissions from Los Angeles based male and female actors of all ages and types for Season 3. They are building their files of L.A. talent who are willing to work as "local hire" in the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale areas. This is for co-starring and guest starring roles. In addition to the speaking roles, the extras casting director in Miami is hiring numerous locals, all types from children to senior citizens, for general background performer work on the show. Shooting on Season 3 will take place through early July, 2012.
