Kangin and Eeteuk have been together forever. The fans refer to them as the 'Mom' and 'Dad' of the group because they kind of are. Except it's less...distinct than Eeteuk being a girl because he's really not. Eeteuk's strength is on the inside and he supports the group with words and whatever he can do as leader. Kangin on the other hand is strong and loud and is much more likely to punch someone in the arm to show his affection that to give them a hug. But he hugs Eeteuk a lot.
They balance each other out with their differences. They're so close, too. Before debut Eeteuk helped Kangin loose a ton of weight in a short period of time and Kangin would stand up for Eeteuk when other people would say bad things about him. Honestly, describing why they work is hard because there is no real, defining moment. They've been friends for years, and this ridiculously cute couple thing for just as long. Either you like them together or you don't.
BUT THEY ARE SO MARRIED, REGARDLESS.
