What worse about this series is it makes the mistake the last two movies was smart enough not to and takes itself seriously at times while mixing in things that are downright idiotic. The Pilaf Trio suddenly becomes very important to the story-line (with the confusing as heck factor that they all regressed at some point right before the cell saga).Initially it felt kind of like Toriyama was trying to get back to his dragonball roots for the characters but as the show progressed it got back into having serious (albeit short and repetitive fights) The latest arc plays on trying to appeal to the fan-base's rabid obsession with Future Trunks giving him a story that tries to be more interesting then it is but really just comes up as droll and tired as the Special The Plot to eradicate the sayian's, also toryiama hit's a milestone of making a character who actually wished for immortality in the canon universe who makes me miss garlic Jr as his arrogance makes frieza look humble. At least they didn't make it about a teenage pan and trunks and a child goku... that said every thing else goes wrong if not immediately eventually. Anyway if you were hardcore into dbz and all its movies you'll probably love it, if you liked gt, you might like this better, if you really liked movies 14 and 15, you could possibly hate itI was actually hyped for this, no joke. I had high hopes for hopes, I likes the movies, and you know what? MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD CAME CRASHING DOWN FASTER THAN YAMCHA! The animation was lack-luster, the main character sounds like a 80 year old grandma and is even dumber than I imagined, all the other characters are piles of wasted potential, the first two arcs were rehashed movies, and worst part f all, NOTHING IS EVER SERIOUS! Even the original creator
was disappointed by the anime and it's not difficult To see why, I really tried to give it my all and say one good thing about It but honestly, there isn't much to say about it, Dragon ball super will earn it's rightful Place among the other crap the dragon ball franchise has produced like dragon ball GT And Evolution.Hence, Dragon Ball GT does not follow the official storyline, and cannot be placed in this timeline. It can be seen as an alternate storyline. Tights (Revised Hepburn: Taitsu) is the elder sister of Bulma. She is a character of the manga "Jako the Galactic Patrolman", by author Akira Toriyama. Tights was born in year 720 and Bulma was born in 733, being 13 years older than Bulma. The fact that Tights is never introduced in Dragon Ball nor mentioned before, is because "Jako the Galactic Patrolman" started its running on 2013, and Dragon Ball manga started on 1984 and ended in 1995, so Tights is a character that was created long after.The events of Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho (2015) happens six months after the end of the fight with Majin Bû (Dragon Ball Z: Doragon bôru zetto (1989)), and a few years before the events of the movie Dragon Ball Z: Doragon bôru Z - Kami to Kami (2013).
