Life isn't fair. The Joker escapes from Arkham Asylum. Bruce Wayne puts on his Batman suit, mask, and cape, and goes in pursuit. He's soon found the Joker and begins a fight to subdue the red-eyed, sneering villain. Then, suddenly, things take a surprising turn: the Joker becomes the least of Batman's worries. New enemies appear: it's as if he's found himself in another set of comic books. Can he hold his own?
The Joker has escaped from Arkham and Batman must once again bring him in - once and for all. Unfortunately for the bat, there is something even more sinister than the Joker waiting in the alley for the dark knight detective..
Upon first knowing of this short film, I was taken aback, "A Batman Fanfilm, playing around with multiverse continuity?", in fact this is something DC has done over and Over again on their Elseworlds line of comic books (any fan will know of the glory days of Superman while being raised by Soviet partents), and only mirrors what a lot of Fans have wanted; another SERIOUS Batman Movie.
Really, I found appalling the latest installment from the big-movie studios, Anatomically correct bat-suit? Please.
If you are not open minded maybe this movie is not for you, personally I found that this was a great way of opening up a whole slew of new avenues for other "Fans" to express themselves, and enjoy something you will definitely not see everyday.
I recently heard about this film at a comic show and now that I've seen it this movie is Chow Yun PHAT! For a short film I must say it was better then a lot of things I've seen lately. It truly felt like I was reading a comic book. Brilliant work. I must also say that they picked one dieseled motherf**ker to be batman which I'm glad they did because if you expect people to believe Batman can hold his own against Aliens and Predators he's got to be a bad a$$ and Clark Bertram got my vote. Plus for a low budget movie the Aliens and predators were very authentic. And of course check out the Joker who is Boner from Growing Pains who played the Joker surprisingly well. This is just the perfect little teaser to get you psyched for Aliens Vs Predator and Batman Begins.
