Now his grandfather believes that the forefathers' buried a treasure somewhere in the country and have placed clues everywhere but unfortunately the clues are highly cryptic and scaterred all over the place. Now one of his associates Ian wants to steal it so that they could get the clue but Ben refuses to do it so he tries to kill Ben. But Ben evades him and tries to warn the authorities about Ian's plans but they don't believe him. So Ben takes it upon himself to steal it in order to protect it. And he does but Abigail Chase the curator of the National Archives, where it is kept, discovers what he has done and tries to stop him but gets caught in the crossfire between Ben and Ian, so Ben takes her with him. While she doesdn't believe him, he is determined to prove he is right about the treasure. But it won't be easy cause Ian's always a step behind him and he is being hunted by the FBI.A historian races to find the legendary Templar Treasure before a team of mercenaries. Here is "The Da Vinci Code" simplified and ready to entertain the entire family! The story draws upon the legendary lost treasure of the medieval Knights Templar filtered through the Freemasons, the Founding Fathers, and three generations of the fictional Gates family, as played by Christopher Plummer, Jon Voigt, and Nicholas Cage. The film follows Cage's Ben Gates in a lifetime quest for the Templar treasure.
Ben's search takes him to Washington, D.C. where he finds himself in the predicament of stealing the Declaration of Independence in order to learn precious clues and prevent the priceless document from falling into the hands of the film's villains.
In an interview following the film's premiere on cable television, Nicholas Cage called the plot "an absurd concept." Yet for the most part, the film delivered two hours of solid action entertainment. While the script could have been more sophisticated, "National Treasure" nonetheless succeeded with the likable Cage backed up with a fine supporting cast. The location filming provided memorable shots of our nation's capital, Philadelphia, and New York City.
For the lively action, a bit of romance, the suspense, and the scenery, this film would have an appeal to film viewers of all ages, especially the younger crowd. With 4th of July celebrations, just around the corner, as of this writing. I thought, that this would be, the best time, to dig deep into, one of my favorite films, to watch on Independence Day; "National Treasure'. Directed by Jon Turteltaub & Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. This Disney movie tells the story of treasure hunter, Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) on his quest to find the hidden Templar treasure of American Freemason, whom he believe, hid cryptography clues on the back of the Declaration of Independence. To prove this conspiracy theory to be true, he must hatch a plan to steal the document, and pull off the heist of the century to find the treasure. Without spoiling the movie, too much, the film can be best described as 2006's 'The Da Vinci Code', 2001's 'Ocean 11" & 1981 "Raiders of the Lost Ark', all roll over into one. While, the treasure hunting plot is bit ridiculousness in the reasons, why Gates must steal the document first, in order to protect it, from being stolen. I do have to say, the treasure hunt is still entertaining. This movie truly surprised me in how smart & fun, the problem-solving is, even in how much artistic liberties, it takes with real-life history like locations and historic people. I did not expect it, to be so good, seeing how the last family friendly treasure hunting movie, 2004's TV movie, 'The Librarian: Quest for the Spear', I saw before this, had a dumb down 'call of adventure'. Perhaps the most exciting thing about this movie is the idea that family films can be sophisticated, and still be appropriate for a general audience. This movie is prove that smart, live action, adventure PG films, are still possible. Still, it is necessary to suspend your disbelief, when it comes to idea of the young nation having a secret Templar treasure. The idea of the Founding Fathers hoarding money is truly unrealistic implausible, even for fantasy sakes; seeing how in real-life, the main masonic lodge was in Britain, and the young nation of USA was bankrupted, during the American Revolution and stay poverty-stricken, even long after it, due to trade restricted and war debts. Nevertheless, nobody should take this movie as a legit American History lecture. After all, it is an action adventure. However, the movie does fail in, delivered the action, in the adventure part. While, the treasure hunting and heist parts is fine and dandy, the action involving on foot and high speed car chases through the streets of Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, falls to be memorable. I hardly remember, any of it. While, those parts, wouldn't be, a 'National Treasure', the good production value and star power does work for the film. Nicolas Cage as Ben Gates, has the right amount of craziness and believability to make, the audience take his character, somewhat serious. The film could had, quickly fallen apart, if he over acted, a little bit more. Thank God, he took this role, very seriously. Nice to see him, take some control. This is pretty rare. Also, the chemistry between his character and sidekick Riley Poole (Justin Batha) was somewhat believable, as well. While, some of the jokes between them, fall flat, I really don't mind, hearing each other, argue, how crazy, their ideas, are. Even, the vocal fights with Jon Voight's character, Patrick Gages was fine for the most part. I just wish, Voight didn't chew up all the scenery, as much. That's Cage's job. Cages parrying with Diane Kruger's sexy-intellectual portrayal of Dr. Abigail Chase was also pretty good. However, I doubt, they would be, lovely dovely, so quick, after only a few days, together. Nevertheless, surprisingly, it was the villains that didn't stand out for me. I totally forgot that actor, Sean Bean was in his film as Ian Howe. Maybe, because it's one of the rare films, in which, the character that Bean plays, doesn't die. Fortunately, the cat-and-mouse game between Nicolas Cage and Sean Bean was not even close in suspense, as I couldn't buy into Howe catching up to Gates. In the end, Gates was just in, a league of his own. Nevertheless, while, the movie lacks suspense. The pacing does work, quickly. Even if, the flow seem a little too structure. Despite that, I do have to say, the music that goes with the film, by composer, Trevor Rabin was rather good. It really gets you, into the sense of looking for buried treasure. Overall: National Treasure is an exciting, engrossing adventure flick that needs to be watch. One worthy of watching on Independence Day!Overall the film is alluringly over-the-top without being overcooked. When Ben Gates (Nicolas Cage) was a young boy, his grandpa, John Adams Gates (Christopher Plummer), told him how, in 1832, Charles Carroll, the last surviving signer of the United States Declaration of Independence, entrusted his stable boy, Ben's great great grandfather Thomas Gates, with the first in a series of clues that supposedly led to a vast treasure amassed by the Knights Templar. Although Ben's own father, Patrick Gates (Jon Voight), does not believe in the legend, Ben swore to take upon himself the duty of the Knights Templar, the Freemasons and the family Gates, and has spent his entire life trying to figure out the meaning of the clue: The secret lies with Charlotte. Finally, as an adult, Ben has found Charlotte and begins on his quest for the treasure. National Treasure is a Disney Production that was co-written by numerous screenwriters, including Jim Kouf, Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, Oren Aviv, Charles Segars, Ted Elliott, and Terry Rossio. A sequel, National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007), followed in 2007. National Treasure 3 is currently in development with no release date known. The signers of the Declaration of Independence, some of whom were also members of the Freemasons, a reformation of the Knights Templar, hid the treasure during the American Revolution [1775-1783] to keep the British from getting their hands on it. Charlotte turns out to be The Charlotte, a sunken vessel in the Arctic Circle. Inside The Charlotte, Ben finds a meerschaum pipe bearing the second clue: The legend writ, the stain effected, the key in Silence undetected. Fifty-five in iron pen, Mr. Matlack can't offend. Ben deciphers the second clue to mean that the 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence hid the message invisibly on the back of the document. Ben must now inspect the Declaration, one of the most important historical documents in the United States. At the same time, Ben's ex-colleague, Ian Howe (Sean Bean), has decided to steal the document and find the treasure for himself. Part of the experience in watching this movie is to try for oneself to decipher the clues and guess where they might lead, so posting that information would be a disservice. Suffice to say that the third clue presents an Ottendorf cipher that, translated, reads: The vision to see the treasured past comes as the timely shadow crosses in front of the house of Pass and Stow. The fourth clue is a pair of 3D spectacles. The fifth clue reads: Heere at the wall. The sixth clue revealed is Beneath Parkington Lane. Those schooled in American history might be able to figure out the clues for themselves. An Ottendorf cipher consists of three codes, i.e., 2-4-6, that corresponds to a random book or newspaper article. The first number corresponds to the page, the second number to the line on the page, and the third number to the letter/word in that line. Status quo refers to the way things are going at the present time, that is, the current status of things. If something changes, e.g., the power shifts, then the status quo also changes. After escaping from the treasure room, Ben contacts FBI agent Peter Sadusky (Harvey Keitel) to return the Declaration. As they are attempting to work out a compromise, Ben sees from Sadusky's ring that he is a Freemason. They agree to give the treasure to "the people" in return for Abigail having no repercussions on her record, Riley being credited for the find, and Ben not having to go to prison. "Someone has to go to prison," Sadusky says, so Ben leads them to Boston where Ian is attempting to break into the Old North Church. Ian is arrested on charges of kidnapping, attempted murder, and trespassing on government property. In the final scene, Ben, Abigail, and Riley stroll in the garden of their estate purchased with the finders fee that they received after turning over the Declaration and the treasure. Some movies that also involve jumping through various hoops to find a valuable treasure include (1) The Maltese Falcon (1941) (1941), in which a detective searches for a priceless statue, (2) The First Great Train Robbery (1978) (1979), in which master criminals attempt to steal a gold shipment from a moving train, (3) Entrapment (1999) (1999), in which two thieves plot to steal 8 billion dollars at the stroke of the transition from 1999 to 2000, (4) The Da Vinci Code (2006) (2006), in which a symbologist Robert Langdon tries to unravel a chain of cryptic codes that could change the face of religious history, (5) Angels & Demons (2009) (2009), in which Langdon follows a series of clues to find a destructive weapon that could level the Vatican, and (6) Inferno (2016) (2016), in which Langdon is drawn by a trail of clues linked to Dante Alighieri [1265-1321]. Also of note are any of the Indiana Jones movies, i.e., Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) (1984), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) (1989), and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) (2008), all of which center around Indy's search for various ancient artifacts. a5c7b9f00b https://atvirzherabceteron.wixsite.com/tiolodtute/blog/one-bad-thing-full-movie-hd-1080p-download-kickass-movie https://diigo.com/0d67h8 https://pastebin.com/SeYRLaAg http://nguyentraialumni.ning.com/profiles/blogs/torque-in-hindi-download http://hiconciafisa.wap-ka.com/forum2_theme_112972180.xhtml?tema=167 http://bitbucket.org/asnipargull/asnipargull/issues/116/download-full-movie-gi-joe-retaliation-in http://maztovi.jugem.jp/?eid=307 http://sharefood.ning.com/profiles/blogs/batman-and-harley-quinn-full-movie-720p-download http://ecobeautylounge.ning.com/profiles/blogs/malayalam-movie-download-now-where-did-the-seventh-company-get-to http://hotsmulreeri.epizy.com/Pasaporte_movie_download.pdf
