Mortal Kombat: Annihilation Movie Download
-----------------------------------------
DOWNLOAD: http://urllio.com/qzz4h
-----------------------------------------
The evil Emperor Shao Kahn has broken the rules of the Mortal Kombat tournament and, with his generals Motaro, Sheeva, Ermac, and Sindel (former queen of Edenia, once a beautiful kingdom, now the ravaged outworld), engineers the merger of the Earth and Outworld realms, destroying life as man knows it. The destruction will take place in six days, unless Lord Rayden, Liu Kang, Princess Kitana, Sonya Blade, and their companions can thwart the Outworld squadrons.
A group of martial arts warriors have only six days to save the Earth from an extra-dimensional invasion before the Elder Lords, the evil Outworlders wreak hell on Earth. Which is led by the mighty Shao Kahn, their gruesome goal is humanity's complete and utter extinction. But Earth's last and only hope is the mighty martial arts warrior Liu Kang and his ferocious friend fighters. They're all that stand between life and...annihilation!
OK let's not take this too seriously here. It's mortal kombat, the story sticks to the game (Street Fighter take note) and the fight scenes are pretty much brilliant for the time, and I'm a Bruce lee/tony jaa fan. Yes the special effects are HORRENDOUS and the acting is pretty bad sometimes...SOMETIMES.Although no excuse can be made for the script. We get to see basically all of the important MK characters (except, sadly, the return of shang and goro) all fulfilling their roles which they had in the game, which of coarse leads to them being rushed in and eventually under used. I like the general colour and fun atmosphere of it though,Emacs red, scorpions yellow, and of coarse liu kang being decimated by smoke for some reason in a very good fight scene.
But forget all of this, enjoy the movie for what its supposed to be, a colourful action packed pop corn flick So go out, grab an 8 pack and a friend, spark up and ENJOY!
After the first Mortal Kombat movie which was quite good, you should expect great things from the sequel. Unfortunately, they messed up and delivered a product that didn't meet the standards of the first movie. It's hard to say why, but in the whole Mortal Kombat franchise there's a fine line between the dark, rather serious mood and action feeling in general, and sheer cartoonish stupidity. This movie unfortunately fell in the latter category, hence the much lower ranking among the fans. There is nothing memorable, although it had some quite good action scenes. The great theme music also makes a welcome return, but that's not enough to save the movie.
The sequel is quite serious, charmless and critic-proof (in fact, it wasn't screened for the media), and it may attract the teenagers who have made the game so popular. [24Nov1997 Pg.10]
